In difficult economic times, it is refreshing to be able to report the following news. Hadfield St Andrews C.C. has secured Olympic Legacy Funding from Sport England who revealed that more than 1,000 projects across the U.K. have received National Lottery Funding through the vehicle of Inspired Facilities which is part of the £150 million " Places People Play" Legacy  programme.

The Club will receive £49,750 of National Lottery funding to significantly upgrade the facilities at the Club which has helped hundreds of young people get into sport since the Club was formed back in 1925. Th improvements will include new toilet facilities, new and enlarged dressing rooms, new storage facilities and a much improved external appearance. Work has already started and all being well, should be completed in time for the new season.
